Paper Butterfly

In our native there are lot of farms where they cultivate foodgrains. So we can see lot of, varieties of butterflies. But in chennai farms are becoming huge buildings like apartments. So we could see little creatures like butterfies, dragon flies very rarely. In my house I have grow few rose plants and few crotons. But I couldn’t see any butterflies here.

Then, how can I show butterfly for my little cute.

MATERIALS:

Magazine paper
Glue
Scissors

PROCEDURE:
Take a square shaped paper. Then cut it diagonally.

Now we have 2 pieces as shown in the picture.

Next cut body part of the butterfly and cut two small stripes.

Take one of the triangle shaped pieces and fold it front side for half inches as shown in the picture.

Next fold in the back side. Similarly fold it front and back sides alternatively till the end.
Gather in its centre and glue it .Then let it to dry.
Do the same for the second piece also.

Then glue both of them and stick them as shown in the picture.

Now we have this one.

Then stick body part with it.

Next stick two stripes in front of the head also.

Now this butterfly is ready to fly in our garden

If we select multicolor paper then we will get colorful butterflies.Multicolor is more beautiful than the single color.
